Had a great experience at this location. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Front desk team were very friendly. Complimentary breakfast buffet was good with a broad selection of items. Shuttle to the airport is free and available 24x7 every hour on the hour - just let them know in advance when you wish to depart. The elevators are a bit disconcerting since they do squeal and creak quite a bit near the top, but they did not get stuck at any point during our visit.
Nice place with good breakfast offerings. The best part of this hotel is that they offer a guest laundry-two washers and two dryers both coin operated. I wish all hotels had this option.
Great location in the middle of fairbanks with lots of dinner places nearby. Staff is wonderful and certainly accommodating. Shuttle drivers are great. Rooms a little bit noisy: you can hear other guests taking a shower or stuff like that
Perfect location near good restaurants and nice walks along the river (yes, even in February!). Complimentary airport shuttle is available and arrived promptly after our 3am arrival. Fabulous complimentary breakfast spread with hot coffee, eggs, sausage sandwiches etc. Good sized workout room with about 4 treadmills. Friendly staff, consistent heat in the room even with negative temps outside, hot shower. Exceeded our expectations and now our #1 place to stay for winter trips to Fairbanks. Fifth floor room had views south to the Alaska Range.
Large & clean suite with the usual Marriott breakfast spread (no extra cost). Comfortable bedding. They have plenty of parking, with a secondary lot on the street behind the hotel, next to The Crepery. Parking spots all have access to outlets for engine warmers and you’ll get your parking pass at the front desk.
Good place. Close to everything touristy downtown. Clean hotel and very busy and popular. There are a lot of homeless people outside the hotel area so make sure you lock your cars and don’t leave anything valuable in the car. Park somewhere where your car will be in the security camera.
Great hotel in the heart of downtown Fairbanks next to the Chena river! The room was very spacious and warm, the complimentary breakfast was a well stocked breakfast buffet, and the convenience store had great souvenirs, snacks, and drinks. The free 24/7 hourly shuttle to and from the airport saved our butts! I was disappointed to find that the attached restaurant and bar (Lavelle's) is closed down permanently!
We were traveling to the base camp and got to spend the night here. We checked in at 2 AM. The people were very friendly at 2 AM. Got settled into our room and slept in the very nice dark room with comfortable beds and the temperature was just right. Pillows were OK. Very clean room looks like it possibly is either very well kept or recently in her modeled. The staff was super nice. We did a noon check out. Our transportation wasn’t showing up until around 2:30 so we decided to go wander around and then -7 temperature and get some lunch. The staff let us keep our bags until we returned. We also waited in the lounge area, which is very comfortable with a TV. NFL playoffs were on and we watched that till our writer arrived. Absolutely recommend this hotel. It does have a pool and a gym. We did not use either one of those, but they looked clean.
